Lands’ End, Duluth Holdings post Q1 losses

In recent SEC filings, retailers Lands’ End Inc. and Duluth Holds Inc. have posted losses. Mount-Horeb-based Duluth Holdings reported a fiscal first-quarter loss of $1.3 million. The company said it had a loss of $1.3 million on net sales of $122.9 million for the three months ended May 1, down from a net income of $0.5 million on net sales of $133.4 million a year ago. Dodgeville-based Lands’ End Inc. reported a fiscal first-quarter net loss of $2.4 million on revenue of $303.7 million for the three months ended April 29, compared to a net income of $2.6 million on revenue of $321.3 million for the same period a year ago.
