A lack of funding support and donations has led to the demise of this year’s Lights On The Lake Boat Parade, which was held for the past five years on Labor Day Weekend.
Coordinator Kelly Starr-King, CEO of Drake & Company Staffing Specialists, said she hopes that with financial support, the festival will return in 2015. Anyone interested in contributing to next year’s event is encouraged to email the planning committee at lightsonthelake@gmail.com.
