The La Crosse Regional Airport and La Crosse’s mayor have selected Lauren Koss as the new director for the airport.
Koss has served as the interim director since October after previous airport director Jeffrey Tripp left the position after 15 months.
She will begin her role on Feb. 13 following Common Council confirmation on Feb. 12.
Koss will oversee all airport operations, strategic planning and ongoing development initiatives. She has 10 years of experience in the aviation field and a Master of Science in Aviation and Aerospace Management.
Mayor Shaundel Washington-Spivey said in a statement, “Lauren’s academic achievements, combined with her professional experience and certifications is why she is qualified to serve as our airport director. She is dedicated to our community and to making our airport better for our customers. Lauren’s ability to lead teams, foster collaboration among stakeholders and her desire for innovation reflects her commitment to operational excellence and public service.”
