Kohl’s Corp., headquartered in Menomonee Falls, has rented two buildings north of Dallas, Texas, where it plans to “locate hundreds of employees,” according to a report from the Dallas Morning News.
The retailer is also planning a $90 million office complex and new headquarters in Menomonee Falls. Kohl’s has design offices in New York and California and distribution centers nationwide. Last year, the company built a 951,000-sq.-ft. distribution center in DeSoto, Texas. Kohl’s has 4,900 corporate employees in the Milwaukee area and could be up to 8,400 by 2021, according to an agreement it has with the state of Wisconsin.
