The owners of the 162-year-old Knapp House at 130 E. Gilman St. received city zoning approval to turn the home into an eight-room boutique hotel with event space and a café, according to The Capital Times.
Knapp House was once home to 17 Wisconsin governors and is registered as a national historic landmark.
