Madison’s Blast Muay Thai Kickboxing Gym has launched a fundraising initiative called “Kicks for Kids” to raise money for recruiting mentors and reducing the waitlist for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County, according to Madison365. The waitlist currently has around 200 children seeking mentors.
Blast Muay Thai Kickboxing Gym’s students and staff will have a “kick-a-thon” event on Saturday, Dec. 16. They will commit one kick per dollar raised. Community members can support the fundraiser by making an online donation here. So far, $1,700 has been raised toward the kickboxing gym’s $10,000 goal.
