Dane County Assistant District Attorney Awais Khaleel has been chosen to join the Wisconsin Ethics Commission, according to a Capital Times report. The six-member commission is tasked with overseeing and administering the state’s campaign finance, lobbying, and ethics laws. The commission was created to replace the defunct Government Accountability Board.
