Karben4 Brewing announced on Wednesday that it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, WKOW reports. The brewery plans to continue operating; the filing is intended to help the business reorganize in the wake of the pandemic, which the owner said took a toll on the craft beer industry.
A court reportedly ruled that Karben4 could continue to pay its employees, use its lenders’ cash collateral, and honor promotional programs for customers. The company’s taproom on Kinsman Boulevard remains open.
