According to the South Central Wisconsin Multiple Listing Service, Dane County recorded 1,117 homes and condo sales in June, up slightly from 1,114 in June 2015.
The average sale price increased from $264,416 (June 2015) to $287,613 this year. A drop in active residential listings is largely driving the increase.
Over the past three years, the number of active June listings have dropped from 2,653 (2014) to 1,960 (2015), to 1,451 (2016).
