U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb overturned an arbitrator’s decision that Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison discontinue its electronic poker operations. Crabb ruled William Norris, the arbitrator, had authority to interpret or enforce the tribal compact, but did not have authority to interpret federal and state law. The Madison casino never stopped offering the game, despite calls to do so.
