Joseph James Brewing Co., a Nevada-based craft brewer, plans to open a second brewery in the Milwaukee suburb of Franklin, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The brewery initially will employ eight people and plans to have 25 employees, enough to make about 15,000 barrels of beer, by its third year. It also will make soda, operate a tasting room and gift shop, and conduct brewery tours. The beer and soda will be sold in Wisconsin and other Midwest states, and in New York, New Jersey, and Virginia.
The facility will be located in the Franklin Business Park, and its construction will require zoning approval by the city of Franklin.
