Located at the Beltline and Todd Drive since 1960, Johannsen’s Greenhouses will close in October. The family-run gardening business decided to sell following an unsolicited offer from Pat Baxter, owner of Kayser Nissan next door, who was seeking a way to expand the auto dealership. City records show Baxter bought the property for $1.45 million. It was assessed at $734,000.
