Sales of single-family homes and condos slipped almost 12% in January compared to January 2013, ending a 30-month stretch of year-over-year gains, according to the South Central Wisconsin MLS. In January, the median price of a home in Dane County rose 1.5% to $103,000, but the previous 12-month median price rose 5% to $212,200 compared to last year. The supply of single-family homes for sale is now at just 3.3 months, which continues to favor sellers.
