Isomark raises funds for identifying presymptomatic infections in animals

Madison-based Isomark Health Inc. announced that it has developed a noninvasive platform technology to identify presymptomatic infections in animals and has raised funds to advance the technology. Using simple breath sample analysis, the technology can identify the presence of infection 24 to 48 hours before symptoms appear in the body. The company recently received funding from Innova Memphis; Johnsonville Ventures, the investment arm of Johnsonville Sausage; Feedlot owners; and additional Wisconsin investors. The funding will allow Isomark Health to build and field-validate the platform technology, called Canary AG, in the feedlot and dairy environments.
