Iran has selected Mojtaba Khamenei, the second son of slain leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as its new leader amidst still-rising oil prices.  

Brent Crude per barrel prices were around $95 per barrel Monday morning after reaching nearly $120 

West Texas Intermediate is hovering at just under $101 after nearly reaching the same price heights.  

Oil and gas production have become targets of both sides during the nascent war.
