International life sciences company MilliporeSigma is expanding its pharmaceutical production facility in Verona, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The $65 million expansion is expected to create 50 new jobs starting this year. As long as job creation minimums are met by the project, the company will receive up to $200,000 in state income tax credits from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. for the new 70,000-square-foot facility. The facility will expand the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients for drug development companies.
