Integrated Art Group has announced “Indigenous Artists of the Upper Midwest: Intersections of Art and Healing,” an exhibition from a group of Native American artists taking the national stage. There will be an opening reception from 5–9 p.m. on Nov. 3 at Integrated Art Group’s Marzen showroom, located at 2345 Atwood Ave.
The exhibition includes contemporary artworks by Rabbett Strickland, Tom Jones, John Hitchcock, Leah Yellowbird, Melanie Sainz, and Chris Sweet, among others. Seasonal Ho-Chunk cuisine will be provided by Lightning the Earth New Rider of Deep in the Woods Catering. The menu will feature traditional soups and Indigenous foods with a modern-day twist.
