Items like sanitary pads and tampons have risen by about 40% since 2020. Products that cost $5.37 per unit are now about $7.43 per unit, according to Circana, a market research firm.
Over the same period, dollar sales from the products have risen by about 30%.
According to the latest CPI data, the inflation in personal care products in the U.S. is up 22.1% in February 2026 from January 2020.
