Public Health Madison and Dane County has amended an order requiring virtual learning for students in third through 12th grade and will now allow children with disabilities to attend school in person, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.
The change comes after some parents of disabled students argued in-person education is a necessity for their children. The original order from Public Health Madison and Dane County took effect Aug. 24.
