With the expansion of Milwaukee Tool in the Milwaukee area, a Sun Prairie-based manufacturer with about 60 workers will also benefit.
Imperial Blades, a power tool blade manufacturer, was purchased by Milwaukee Tool in 2018 and is part of a larger expansion agreement between its parent company and the state. The area company will benefit from that agreement with a $7.5 million expansion of its Sun Prairie location, at 450 Progress Way, that will create at least 30 new jobs, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.
Milwaukee Tool, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd., is planning to invest more than $100 million on a new manufacturing campus in Menomonee Falls that will add about 870 jobs by 2025.
