Walter Wayne Development of Rochelle, Illinois is proposing a 59-unit, five-story apartment complex in the 600 block of West Wilson Street in the Bassett Street neighborhood.
As proposed, the market-rate apartments would replace five existing homes built between 1884 and 1904 that are currently being used as apartments.
According to a Capital Timesreport, if approved, the developer would like to begin construction in July and open in the summer of 2020.
