Minnesota-based Phillips & Tempro Industries (PTI) has acquired Madison-based Idle Free Systems. Idle Free, which creates anti-idling auxiliary power units for the trucking industry, will continue to operate in Madison as a wholly owned subsidiary of PTI. The infusion of capital will help fuel Idle Free’s growth. Terms were not disclosed.
