Hyundai Hope on Wheels donated $400,000 toward a cancer research effort led by Dr. Paul Sondel at UW Health’s American Family Children’s Hospital, WMTV15 reports.
Sondel, , has worked to improve a treatment for high-risk neuroblastoma, which is currently effective but painful. His work has led to a cure for more than 80% of patients with that diagnosis.
