Front-line part-time and full-time store employees with Iowa-based Hy-Vee will receive a 10 percent bonus for all hours worked from March 16 to April 12, according to a company release. The company-wide $10 million commitment will be paid out on April 17. Additionally, Hy-Vee is offering new benefits including protective leave and telehealth services to its more than 80,000 employees. These measures are in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hy-Vee Inc. is an employee-owned grocery chain operation with more than 265 retail stores across eight Midwestern states.
