John Myer, senior counsel in the Madison office of Husch Blackwell, has been named a fellow at Milwaukee’s 5 Lakes Institute. In this role, Myer will help entrepreneurs, researchers, and businesses in the Midwest/Great Lakes region identify and overcome challenges to commercialization of innovation technology.
In addition to his work at Husch Blackwell, Myer is a mentor at mHub, a hard tech startup accelerator in Chicago, and board chair of the Textile Arts Center in Madison. He previously was general counsel and corporate secretary at the Department of Energy’s Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, and before that, associate general counsel at Trane/Ingersoll Rand.
