Saturday Properties of St. Louis Park, Minnesota is proposing to raze the Zor Shriners temple on Madison’s far west side to build 479 apartments, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The project would include two buildings, as well as underground and surface parking at the property at 575 Zor Shrine Place west of West Towne Mall. The 8.87-acre site currently holds the Zor Shriner’s 18,640-square-foot temple, a parking lot, and a grassy area. The Zor Shriners have agreed to sell the site to Saturday Properties.
