Permits for new houses and duplexes in Dane County increased in July, according to MTD Marketing Services of Menasha. The county’s 104 permits, a 33% increase over July 2012, represent the highest number of July permits issued since 2006. Year to date through July, Dane County permits issued (602) have increased 29.5% compared to 2012 (465).
