Erdman Real Estate Holdings, developers of Middleton Hills, is proposing a plan to create 104 new housing sites next to Pleasant View Golf Course in Middleton. “Pleasant View Ridge” would offer a “new ruralism” design that would locate residential development around a working organic farm.
The Middleton City Council has already approved a pre-agreement to annex 162 acres of Erdman-owned land for the development, but developers would have to purchase additional golf course land separately from the city. About 70% of the site would remain open land. Developers would like to break ground in 2014 and build homes over a six-year period.
