CRG and Lund Real Estate Partners have not yet submitted a formal land use application to the city of Madison but preliminary plans call for the removal of all buildings on a strip of land immediately south of UW–Madison’s Smith Residence Hall between North Park Street and the East Campus Mall. The project could include 3,777 square feet of first-floor commercial space, a fitness center, study rooms, a lounge, and roughly 160 housing units on the second–10th floors. The concept also includes a 2,448-square-foot rooftop terrace and underground parking garage.
