The 48-room HotelRed at the corner of Regent and Monroe streets is up for sale and is being pitched as possible multifamily housing, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The hotel has been operating since 2011 but closed in March of last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The facility offers views of the UW Fieldhouse and is near shopping and dining businesses.
