Hyatt Place Madison, 333 W. Washington Ave., has announced an extension of furloughs for 26 employees, according to a notice given to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
The hotel laid off the employees in March with the intention that the layoff would be temporary. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the hotel is now planning for extended layoffs that may exceed six months.
