A new business, Hotco Noodles, has taken up residence at the Global Market & Food Hall at 2161 Zeier Road, The Capital Times reports. Owner Sylvia Smith serves handmade noodle dishes, hot pot and Japanese curries in the stall space previously occupied by Sweet Hut, which she took over in January.
Smith, who is from China’s Sichuan province, also offers homemade chili sauce at Hotco Noodles. Prior to expanding her operation to the Global Food Market, Smith started working from the kitchen at Fresh Mart, a grocery store that moved into the former Whole Foods space in 2024.
Hotco Noodles is open Tuesday-Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
