Horizon High School opens new facility

CG Schmidt Construction will join Horizon High School and other local partners in the opening of Horizon’s newly renovated space at 5003 University Ave., according to a release from CG Schmidt. Horizon High School is Dane County’s only recovery high school and has been operating for nearly 15 years out of temporary facilities. The permanent space was made possible in part through donations and volunteer efforts from CG Schmidt and several Madison–area trade organizations including Burse Surveying and Engineering, Plunkett Raysich Architects, Next Electric, Lerdahl, NAMI Plumbing, The Rockwell Group, and Hughes Flooring.
