Hop Garden taproom opened in Belleville last month, The Capital Times reports. The 5,000-square-foot taproom at 107 W. Main St. can seat roughly 170 people and includes a massive outdoor beer garden for 200 with a music stage and a balcony that overlooks the Sugar River.

The business is housed in a historic garage built in 1917 and was co-founded by Rich Joseph — a beer brewer and hop grower with two taprooms in Paoli and Evansville — and his wife Michele.

Hop Garden serves a limited menu of barbecue items similar to Joseph’s Evansville spot, and guests can order food from other local businesses to bring in as well. It also offers nearly 20 beers on tap.

The taproom is open Wednesday-Thursday from 4-8 p.m., Friday from 4-9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
