The city of Madison’s permanent homeless men’s shelter, planned for a two-acre site at 1902 Bartillon Drive, has received an additional $2 million in federal funds, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The funding was announced last week by U.S. Rep. Mark Pocan, D-Black Earth, and brings the funding for the project to $11 million. Estimates for the total cost are expected as design work progresses.
