More than 300 homeless people are staying in area hotels in an attempt to limit the coronavirus’ spread among that vulnerable population, according to a report by the Wisconsin State Journal.

While none of the people being placed into the hotels have been confirmed COVID-19 positive, one of the facilities is being used specifically for those with COVID-19-like symptoms. Two other hotels are also being used specifically for homeless families.
