Home Savings Bank of Madison has filed a proposal with federal regulators to form a holding company, Home Bancorp Wisconsin, as it seeks to go public.
The bank would first have to convert from a mutual savings bank to a stock-based savings bank. It would reportedly sell about 12.5 million shares of stock at around $10 per share, generating net proceeds of about $11.4 million. Customers, employees, and Dane County residents would be given the first opportunity to purchase the shares. The proposal still needs to be approved by regulators.
