Home sales rebound in October

According to the Wisconsin REALTORS Association, statewide existing home sales increased 4.9% in October compared to October 2016, but a tight inventory continues to drive median prices higher, now at $175,000.

Dane County’s median home price, however, increased 9.5% year over year, and is now at $265,000, up from $241,900 in 2016.

Sales in Dane County also paced ahead of October 2016 by 10.3%, with 630 sales recorded compared to 571 a year ago.
