Sales of existing homes and condos in Dane County declined in September by 1.6% compared to September 2013. Five hundred fifty-one sales were recorded in September, according to the South Central Wisconsin MLS, slightly down from 560 sales a year earlier. The median sales price increased, however, to $223,000, compared to $215,000 in September 2013. Year-to-date through September, Dane County sales are off 8.5% year-to-year.
