The Livingston Inn’s historic mansion is for sale, with an asking price of $2.29 million, The Capital Times reports. The 1850s building, known as the William T. Leitch House for its original owner and former Madison mayor, has housed the bed and breakfast for 13 years and is currently one of Madison’s most expensive homes for sale.

Owner Peggy Furlan and her ex-husband, Dave, who purchased the home at 752 E. Gorham St. in 2011 for $725,000, renovated the property and opened the business that same year. Furlan reportedly announced she is ready to retire.

The nearly 5,400-square-foot Gothic Revival mansion, built in 1857, according to city records, includes six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, nine fireplaces, three carved stairwells, and a glass conservatory. It also comes with lake access.
