A SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel proposed for the Hilldale area by Raymond Management Co. gained land use approvals from the Madison Plan Commission. The 182-room, 11-story hotel is slated for 4601 Frey St., adjacent to the Weston Place condominiums.
Raymond Management Co. would occupy space on the building’s fourth floor. The current design is a slimmed-down version of the original, in response to neighborhood concerns.
According to The Capital Times, if the project gets a final approval from the Urban Design Commission, construction could begin next fall.
