Hilldale has announced several holiday offerings, events, and charitable partnerships.
Santa will be available for meet-and-greets outside in the brand-new “Santa’s Cabin” near Indochino, across from lululemon, beginning Saturday, Dec. 2. Santa will also be posing with pups for pet portraits Sunday, Dec. 3 and 10 from 6–8 p.m. in The Plaza near bluemercury. Participants must reserve a slot ahead of time here and make a minimum suggested donation of $10 to Dane County Humane Society.
Live entertainment will be provided throughout the holiday season, including the Capital City Theatre Carolers, school choirs, bands, and more. For a list of holiday performers and times, click here.
“Storytime with Santa’s Helper” will be offered for parents and children under five on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 9:30 a.m. at Lovesac. An ASL interpreter will be on hand. Space is limited and reservations are required with a suggested minimum donation of $15 per family to the Madison Reading Project. Click here to reserve a spot.
Hilldale will also host a Menorah Lighting organized by Chabad of Madison on Dec. 10 at 4 p.m. on The Green near L.L. Bean.
Other charitable offerings include:
- Ulla Eyewear’s Donate & Save event (up to $100 off purchases in exchange for nonperishable food donations for River Food Pantry);
- Salvation Army red kettles outside Metcalfe’s Market;
- Ronald McDonald House Giving Tree (indoors near Metcalfe’s and Paper Source);
- Madison Reading Project’s Community Book Drive (bins located in the Macy’s atrium);
- Amara’s donation of $1 from December sales of featured State Line cocktails to GSAFE, plus a collection of,personal and household essentials to benefit The Road Home of Dane County;
- Gift wrapping at Petphoria for a donation to Fetch WI Rescue on Dec. 14 and 21.
