West Towne Mall has landed Von Maur, a high-end department store that will be built on the site of the former Boston Store. It will be the second store in Wisconsin for the Davenport, Iowa-based Von Maur.
In 2017, the company opened a 150,000-square-foot Brookfield location. It has 35 stores currently, and more than 4,500 employees, according to a release.
The retailer plans a one-level, 85,000-square-foot store that will create about 120 jobs and break ground next summer with an opening slated for fall of 2021.
