Hickory Hill Academy has announced the grand opening of its new building expansion. The expansion, designed to provide a more comprehensive educational environment, adds 50,000 square feet of cutting-edge facilities. A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place Tuesday, Sept. 19.
Hickory Hill Academy was founded 25 years ago on the grounds of the Dahl family homestead. The new building is located at 3276 S. High Point Road.
Hickory Hill Academy’s new expansion includes dedicated spaces for art, science, music, makerspace, and a full gymnasium, all designed for students ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade. The school’s design was by Iconica, with design assistance from 1901 Inc., and construction by Vogel Bros. Building Co. It also features an indoor garden and conservatory.
