Emergency order No. 13, issued this week from Public Health Madison and Dane County, is now allowing gatherings of up to 50 people inside and 150 people outside if food and drink are not provided. The previous order limited indoor gatherings to 10 and outdoor gatherings to 50.
The new order states that if food and drink are offered, the limits are 25 people inside and 100 people outside. While the order loosens gathering restrictions, face masks and physical distancing are still required indoors and recommended outdoors when more than 50 people are gathered or while playing sports.
