Health officials await approval to reopen Alliant Energy Center testing clinic

Officials at Public Health Madison and Dane County are looking to reopen its community testing clinic at the Alliant Energy Center with a revised format, once it’s approved by the state, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. Rather than the drive-thru service offered last summer, the clinic would operate on an appointment-only basis. If approved by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and accepted by the Alliant Energy Center, the clinic could open as early as the first few weeks of 2022.
