Public Health Madison and Dane County ordered the 18-screen AMC multiplex movie theater, at 6091 McKee Road in Fitchburg, to close after it was issued five citations related to rodents, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. A mouse sighting was reported to the agency and prompted the inspection. The inspector ordered the theater to close until the violations were resolved. Last week, a sign on the door read, “This theatre is temporarily closed. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please check amctheatres.com or our mobile app for updates.” The theater reopened on Friday after passing a new inspection.
