Health care facilities still require universal masking

Even as local public health orders expire, masks continue to be universally required for everyone ages 5 and older at local health care facilities regardless of vaccination status, according to a joint statement from local hospitals, health care centers, and Public Health Madison & Dane County. While local health care officials are encouraged by the progress made against COVID-19, organizations that care for medically vulnerable patients must continue to enforce pandemic-response safety measures.
