The Board of Directors of Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW) has launched an immediate search for a new CEO after Kevin Hayden resigned.

Hayden joined GHC-SCW in February 2013, succeeding Larry Zanoni, who retired after 37 years.

In a release, Ken Machtan, president of the GHC-SCW Board said, “In discussions with the Board of Directors, Kevin has indicated that he understands that the Board wishes to move in a different direction and therefore he has decided to move on to new challenges in his professional career.”

GHC-SCW’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Mark Huth, succeeds Hayden in an interim CEO role.
