Harley-Davidson Motor Co. has recalled about 55,000 motorcycles for two different issues.
Nearly 9,000 of the company’s 2015 XG500 and XG750 motorcycles built between May 12, 2014 and March 9, 2015 could be missing a rear deflector assembly.
Another 46,000 bikes sold between April 28, 2014 and Oct. 24, 2014 may have clutch issues. Certain Electra Glide, Ultra Limited, Police Electra Glide, Street Glide, Road Glide, and Road King models may be affected.
Harley will be notifying owners, but customers can also contact Harley’s customer service line at (800) 258-2464 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety hotline at (888) 327-4236 for more information.
